MARCH TO WAR! Learn to Play Series

MARCH TO WAR! Learn to Play Series

This month we are March(ing) to War(games)!

There's a sale?

First of all - 15% off all Wargames and Paints instore and online. This should apply automatically, but you might have to remind our staff!

Next - every Thursday this month at 6pm we are running a Learn to Play session for a variety of different games. These will be very lowkey, getting you through a couple of rounds so you get the feel for each game affairs.

What is Necromunda?

A game of brutal gang warfare in the 41st Millennium– recruit your crew, fight rivals, and make a name for yourselves.

PJ has described Necromunda as "D&D for wargamers" - at its best, the game is played as a campaign with your individual Gangers getting loot, experience and sometimes crippling injuries. Emergent gameplay and storytelling is the heart of the play with some lighthearted competition along the way!

What is Battletech?

BattleTech is much more than a board game as presented in the BattleTech Introductory Box Set. Vibrant, strong and still growing after twenty years, the fictional universe and the valiant struggles of its dynamic human characters, set against a far-future battlefield, has endeared it to millions of fans and will continue to do so into the future.

BIG STOMPY MECHS*!

Battletech - a Game of Armored Combat has existed more or less unchanged since the 80s, and is full of details and fantastic theorycrafting for your robot battles. Alpha Strike - a more streamlined rules system released more recently - is what we'll be trying out; all the minis and concepts are cross compatible though, and there is probably a similar amount of lore to be found here as there is in one of Games Workshop's flagship titles!

(*Battlemech - this is to the best of my knowledge where the term "mech" comes from, when describing piloted robots.)

What is Malediction?

Malediction is a new breed of miniatures game that seamlessly blends the strategic positioning of wargames with the deep customization aspects of competitive card games.

Just in time for the next release of Maledictions offerings, you can jump into this fantastic skirmish game. Dark fantasy, a single D20 Roll, deckbuilding (and 3d printing, if that's your jam!)
